The aim of the project implemented by ICZ Slovakia in dm drogerie markt was to make the activities related to document administration automated and clearer through the creation of software and an application infrastructure for monitoring the creation, registration and administration of documents. The implemented solution is designed as a combination of client and server applications for the administration and distribution of documents and of the document scanning technology already used.
After the implementation of the project, documents delivered to dm drogerie markt s.r.o. are registered at the filing offices in the company headquarters and in the main logistics warehouse, where the documents are also scanned subsequently. The scanned documents are attached to the records in the system automatically based on the record number entered by the user when scanning the document. The scanned images are saved in a document storage.
By implementing this solution, dm drogerie markt met the legal requirement for the administration of documents incompliance with the valid legislation, and at the same time, it made the administration and distribution of documents in the organisation, which consists of more than 130 shops all over the Slovak Republic, more efficient and well-arranged.
