ICZ a.s. was founded in 1997 by bringing together successful leading IT companies in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Connecting with other entities gradually gave rise to ICZ Group over the following years. The continuously expanding portfolio based on a wide range of platforms and technologies is focused primarily on application software, security and infrastructure, namely for public administration, healthcare, defence, transport, finance, manufacturing, logistics and telecommunications. Over the years, the area of focus has also expanded from the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic to other countries.

1990s
AMIS, DECROS, EPE, EXPRIT, Internet Servis, SA&S and many other companies are founded and successfully operate independently of one another
1997
ICZ a.s. is created with the goal of gradually integrating vital IT companies, thus creating a strong synergic company
1998
ICZ a.s. organizes the first ArtForum fundraiser auction, proceeds of almost CZK 350,000 donated to the Paraple civic association
2001
Fourteen(!) Czech IT companies (such as AMIS, C3, ICOS, Internet Servis, SA&S…) merge with ICZ a.s.
2002
Another two companies, D-data and PRAGOSOFT, merge with ICZ a.s.
2003
ICZ a.s. is awarded The Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe; further merging with CD-FOTO BLER
2004
The company moves its headquarters to new premises in Pankrác in Prague
2005
ICZ a.s. becomes the owner of Expert & Partner engineering; the total sum donated from the annual ArtForum fundraiser auctions now exceeds CZK 5 million
2006
ICZ a.s. merges with EXPRIT; the portfolio expands to include voice services and telecommunications
2007
ICZ a.s. buys Amaio Technologies. ICZ N.V. is founded and becomes the sole shareholder of ICZ a.s.
2008
ICZ a.s. becomes the sole shareholder of ALES and DELINFO, D.ICZ is founded
2009
ICZ a.s. again moves its headquarters as a result of further growth, this time to a new modern building in Kavčí hory in Prague; receives TOP Professional award
2011
ICZ a.s. systematically develops its activity abroad
2013
For its thoughtful and balanced long-term charity activity, ICZ a.s. is a finalist in the VIA BON Award
2014
The amount donated to the needy through regular ArtForum charity events exceeds CZK 10 million
2016
Long-term charity activities result in the founding of the ICZ Endowment Fund
