The aim of the project implemented by ICZ Slovakia in the Hospital and Clinic in Prievidza established in Bojnice was to automate and clarify the activities related to document administration by creating a software and application infrastructure for monitoring the creation, registration and administration of documents. A Central Register of Contracts (CRC) is also a part of the solution; its administration is ensured by the hospital’s legal department. Using the CRC, the individual users of the e-file system can easily find and view the electronic versions of contracts, including their amendments, provided that they have the appropriate rights.
The supply also included “ePACS” communication nodes, which enable the secured exchange of medical image documentation, for example, between hospitals in the region or between other medical facilities. By implementing this system, the hospital has become one of the state-of-the-art facilities which use telemedical solutions.
