The company ALES a. s., which develops and manufactures systems for air traffic management and air navigation services (ATM\/ANS), has taken another important step in its strategic direction. The company’s goal is to harmonize internal processes and standardize the product portfolio and services in accordance with the new European regulatory framework in the field of civil aviation.<\/p>\n
On March 12, 2026, the initial Kick-off meeting for the certification process was held at the EASA headquarters in K\u00f6ln in order to obtain an ATM\/ANS DPO accreditation (Design and Production Organisation).<\/p>\n
This framework is based on Commission Regulation (EU) 2023\/1768 and 2023\/1769, which introduced technical and administrative requirements for organizations involved in the design and manufacture of ATM\/ANS equipment in the European Union.<\/p>\n
Obtaining approval of the organization’s ATM\/ANS DPO has fundamental strategic importance for ALES. It will allow the company to carry out activities related to the design and production of ATM\/ANS devices in a harmonized European regulatory environment and to demonstrate compliance of its organizational processes and products with the relevant EASA requirements.<\/p>\n
During the initial meeting, representatives of ALES presented the company’s organizational structure, its professional focus, product portfolio and new solutions in the field of ATM\/ANS. At the same time, the further procedure of the assessment process and the main areas in which the company will demonstrate compliance with EASA requirements were agreed upon.<\/p>\n
ALES at the EASA professional workshop <\/strong><\/p>\n As a follow-up to the started process, the company ALES participated in the ATM\/ANS Equipment Conformity Assessment Workshop at the EASA headquarters in Cologne on June 9-10, 2026.
