ALES in cooperation with the Japanese partner, Nippon Electronic Company, participated in a major project of terminal expansion at Kamuzu International Airport, Malawi. The main supplier was GYROS Corporation, which implements complex modernization projects around the world.
ALES supplied LETVIS ATM System for Air Traffic Control and ATC Simulator for Air Traffic Control staff training in Malawi.
It was the first time ALES delivered its system on the African continent and at the same time successfully managed cooperation with American consultant Daniel Diggins, who was responsible for modernizing of air traffic services in Malawi’s airspace in 2014-2019. Mr. Diggins is an international consultant and investigator working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States.
